The One Minute Refresh from One Whole Health

To Leah and all the dear ladies that attended The Clear Path Retreat,
I hope all of you are doing well. I think of you all often. I am doing amazingly well. I didn't expect so much of what we did and learn "stick" but it has. :)  I certainly am eating better, not smoking (hurray!!), and have had very little alcohol too. My energy and outlook are so much brighter. I really feel that I have turned a new page in my life. I hope to see you all again. You are all permanently in my heart. I hope to someday come back to the ranch.

My eyes are filled with tears capturing your words and reliving the memories. I was awe-struck. I was captivated from the very beginning. I was able to be free and true. I hit the ground running when I came back. I was really tired the first few days, but I did hit my stride and had to work straight through the weekend but had more energy than I've had in quite a while. I have definitely noticed a changed attitude about how I see my life. I am more settled in my marriage and notice that we don't seem so disconnected and are beginning to share more with each other.

I got home and made a huge salad and just put it out and my kids ATE IT!.  Wow! What a obvious difference! I feel so much better just by eating good for one day! I have been eating out of my humongous salad once or twice a day! I even packed it for lunch! Yum! I have used my tongue cleaner every day and even thought to put cayenne pepper on my eggs.  I’m in a better mood and I have been feeling motivated and excited about finding peace. How can something that sounds so simple bring me so much joy?

Now I'm tearing up with relief over feeling so at ease with myself. It's an incredibly rewarding feeling to feel so content yet energized. I look so forward to all that is still to come. When I started my nutritional repair plan, I noticed a bit difference right away in my thoughts and feeling what I would describe as 'lifted' out many of my negative thought patterns.  Also noticed a big difference in sleep and feeling more awake and refreshed and a more positive outlook in the morning too.  One of the other big things I have noticed is my sense of humor is abounding.  I feel able to laugh at things more and that is one of my main joys in life so I am really pleased to feel that!

My health coaching sessions with Leah were comfortable and yet reflective. She does a great job of keeping you on track and calming any fears you may have about school while making you feel great about the accomplishments you have done.  I realized after our first session right away what health coaching does as I felt uplifted and excited to become a health coach. Yes this is my last day of Weigh to Live. In the last five weeks I have lost 12 lbs. I now work out a minimum of 5 hrs a week. I learned that my all or nothing thinking was setting myself up for failure and was a form of self sabotage. Of course that part relates to my mind. I also had a very negative attitude about my weight loss because I have done this so many times before without reaching my goal. I plan to maintain my healthy lifestyle for now on. This time I will not quit only to start over. Like they say it is a lifestyle change not a diet. Thank you Leah Lund for the opportunity to work with you. Many blessings.

I feel lighter, and my digestive system is working better. I did loose some weight and I'm eating still less and chewing my food more. In used to eat food very quickly and I see that now.  Everyone has complimented me on how I look. I did not realize there was such a change. I started on my amino acids and in the past 2 nights I am sleeping the whole night and feel much more rested. So I don't know if that is only Phsycological or what but it is good. If these amino acids are my ticket to getting my head screwed on right, I am very excited!

I feel better in control of my life and my habits - which makes me a happier person too. I am more clear, and the journaling allows me to "talk out" and connect the dots of why I sometimes do the things I do. I am reconnecting with myself and my authenticity, and Leah's class has helped me dramatically in this regard.  I've broken a major coffee addiction. I eat more mindfully and be sure to include superfoods that I did not used to think about. I just have more energy and more stamina overall - and that is a very good thing!
